Kat Da Silva
Executive Director and Well-Being Experience Designer
Kat has spent over a decade making wellness feel like it belongs to everyone, not just those who can afford a studio membership. She holds a B.A. in Psychology alongside certifications in Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy and Alignment-based Hatha Yoga, bringing a research-grounded, intuition-guided approach to every room she enters. “You Carry Your Well-Being with You.”
Deana Hsu
BTC@Work Program Lead
Deana brings over two decades of experience in tech, project management, and organizational development into workshops that build Emotional Fitness, the capacity to stay clear, connected, and grounded under pressure. A Certified ScrumMaster and Agile practitioner, she draws on Positive Intelligence and Appreciative Inquiry to help individuals and teams shift the patterns driving their stress, from board-level strategic planning to leading immersive experiences like Art, Sound & Nourishment.
Monique Wright Gory
Executive Director of In Her Legacy in partnership with BTC
Monique is a 500E-RYT yoga teacher, certified life coach, and mediator, and the founder of In Her Legacy, a California nonprofit guiding girls and young women through wellness, confidence, and leadership.
Alejandro Rivas
Movement & Somatics Guide
Alejandro brings 23+ years of teaching yoga and meditation, alongside 15 years of Reiki and Qigong, to the San Jose and Bay Area community. His practice blends deep body knowledge with energy medicine and mantra, offering a challenging yet deeply compassionate approach for practitioners of all ages and body types.
Anna Luna
Yoga & Nutrition Guide
Anna is a 500-hour certified Hatha yoga instructor and health coach specializing in work-life balance for busy professionals. Her classes focus on easing tension and improving posture, especially for those spending long hours seated.
Ferris Givens
Integrative Well-Being Guide
Ferris is a holistic wellness practitioner with more than 15 years of experience, using bodywork, astrology, and natural products to support clients on their healing journey. Her specialty is customizing each session to the individual in front of her.
Janet Oguns
Social Media & Communications Manager
Janet bridges storytelling and community engagement to help build a wellness space people genuinely feel part of. She leads BTC’s social media and brand messaging, ensuring the community feels seen and connected both online and offline.
Jen Tipton
Bilingual Yoga & Movement Guide
Jen holds a Master’s of Science in Exercise Science and is currently pursuing her PhD, bringing over two decades of teaching experience to her practice. She’s deeply committed to community wellness, teaching yoga for cancer patients, youth programs, and beyond.
Mark Quijano
Yoga, Sound Guide & Events Operations Lead
Mark is a 500-hour certified yoga teacher, sound journey facilitator, and the operational backbone of BTC’s most meaningful events, including the Conscious San Jose Festival. He’s been part of this community for nearly a decade, bringing the same steady, grounded presence to every role he holds.
Melina Meneghelli
Bilingual Yoga & Movement Guide
Melina completed her yoga teacher training at Yoga Source in Los Gatos after her own practice became a grounding force in her life. She offers classes in Spanish, creating a space for connection for community members to reconnect with their language and cultural roots.
Paulyn Nguyen
Sound Journey Guide
Paulyn is an intuitive wellness guide offering sound journeys, mindful yoga, Reiki, and meditation. As an herbalist and founder of Starseed Heritage, she provides balancing, Bay Area-based sessions that support stress relief and self-discovery.
Stefeny Butler
Yoga & Movement Guide
Stefeny is a movement instructor and creator of Lit Pilates, known for blending strength, breath, and intentional flow into immersive, feel-good experiences. Her classes help people reconnect to their bodies and step into a more confident, grounded version of themselves.
Titilayomi Obafemi
Online Community & Content Guide
Titi manages BTC’s LinkedIn presence, creating content and building engagement that positions BTC’s voice within professional and wellness communities. A Personal Branding and Community Management Specialist by trade, she blends strategy and storytelling to build visibility grounded in trust and connection.
Yesenia Villa
Art Therapy Guide
Yesenia, LMFT, LPCC, ATR-BC, is a psychotherapist and art therapist with over 10 years of experience working with students from TK through college. She specializes in trauma, self-compassion, mindfulness, and spirituality, and currently sees adults through her private practice, Art Consultations.
